False Feminism

NO, no that does not make you a feminist; all it makes you a sexist! Feminism is NOT about hating men, it is about wanting the equality women have been denied since societies were formed! Sexism is what feminism works to absolve! It makes me furious when I see or hear comments like this. This brand of “feminism” is what has kept the feminist movement from succeeding. Ignorance will never lead to success. And another thing, not only women can be feminists! Most people are feminists and don’t realize it because they believe feminism is about shaving your head, burning your bras, being a vegan, and hating men. None of these things are related to the true goals of feminism; how is being discriminatory towards men any different than how women have been treated. It is hypocritical and counter intuitive and it pisses me the fuck off.
